Task
Acquire qualified clients for €2,000+ programs in a category where the offer language itself triggers ad-platform restrictions
Solution
Repositioned the offer as a structured protocol rather than experiential language, segmented creative by audience archetype, ran Meta with compliance-first creative review
Approach
The client operated a multi-day retreat program involving plant medicine — a category where any explicit mention of the experience triggers immediate ad disapproval across Meta, Google, and most programmatic networks.
The repositioning work came first. We stripped the offer down to its structural claims: location, duration, facilitation quality, group size, and the logistics of the experience — not the experience itself. The ads communicated 'transformation protocol' and 'facilitated reset' instead of the original language.
Audience segmentation was critical. We built three separate creative tracks targeting: (1) burned-out executives in tech/finance aged 35–50, (2) wellness-adjacent consumers who had previously engaged with meditation or therapy content, and (3) lookalikes of the client's existing buyer list. Track 1 generated 60% of all bookings at the lowest CPL.
All creatives went through a manual compliance review before going live. We maintained a 5-day creative pipeline so that when accounts hit review cycles, new approved assets were already ready.
